The Blackwood cemetery was first Gazetted in 1860, but burials are recorded as far back as 1855. The Cemetery Trustee is Robyn Zanon.

Historical society Committee Meeting from 10.30am – 12noon on the first Saturday in every month.
**** AS FROM SATURDAY 5TH February 2022 THE HISTORICAL MUSEUM WILL BE OPEN ON the 1st Saturday of the month for a Historical meeting for members of the society from 10.30am – 12pm – New members are most welcome.
*****As in keeping with other Historical societies, we welcome enquiries about family or local history, which should be made by contacting the Historian at margothitchcock@bigpond.com . The cost of this service is appreciated with a small monetary donation for the time and information required.
